I am an experienced and reflective leader, passionate about creating positive change in society. My work in international development began almost thirty years ago, with three years as a VSO volunteer in Uganda in the 1990s. Since then my career has been focused on international health, HIV, education and social development, supporting organisational strategy and system change. I have worked as a funder, in partnership and business development, and as a provider of technical support and training.

I trained as an Executive Coach at Henley Business School in 2021, building on my psychology degree and my interest in personal development and leadership. Since then I have been coaching regularly, mainly people working in the non-profit sector in international development. I receive regular supervision and continuing professional development. I am a member of the International Coaching Federation and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.
