Executive Coaching

Coaching is a powerful way to gain self-awareness, focus and control.

I always offer a free ‘discovery call’ for people who are thinking about working with me as a coach. This gives us the chance to get to know each other and to think about what value coaching would bring at this stage. The client, or ‘thinker’, can learn more about their current situation and what they want to change. During coaching sessions, I offer a safe, non-judgemental space for thinking and reflection. I ask questions and prompt deeper thinking, and provide time to think. This often leads to new insights and changes in perception. I help people to draw on their own resources and find solutions. In coaching sessions, people can rehearse future actions and behaviours. They can test these in practice in their daily lives, and then return to the coaching session to reflect on their progress.

I am interested in how people can find ways to feel professionally and personally fulfilled. I take a person-centred approach to coaching, drawing on research and lessons learned from psychology and neuroscience. I believe in people’s 'self-righting' tendency, with an ability to find the solutions to their own problems, given the right environment and the chance to think things through.

I am a trained coach, with a Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching from Henley Business School. I am a member of the International Coaching Federation and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, and receive regular professional supervision and invest in continuing professional development.
